The week of October 5 at the observatory site saw the installation of concrete footings and a retaining wall for the building that will house restrooms and store our many portable telescopes. Concrete footings were also poured for the shade/birdwatching pavilion. Quite exciting for the members of the SVO team who have been looking after the many pre-construction details necessary to bring this project to life!
